Dory’s passion for fitness began with her venture into the sport of running. As the benefits of sport became apparent to her she furthered her education in the field of fitness through the BCRPA (British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association) and has gone on to spread her love for activity to her group fitness and personal training clients.
Trained in special populations and specializing in group fitness for older adults, she has developed a style that is both inviting and challenging for all her participants. Working with those who suffer from chronic back pain, Dory has developed a style of teaching core and back health that has allowed her clients to achieve a new level of activity, often pain-free.
Her personal transition into the sport of triathlon has allowed her to expand her career into that of recreational athletes.
