Kim's journey in health and fitness began when she made the decision to change from observing life to participating in it!
As a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) through CSEP (Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology), she has been involved in fitness training and coaching for over 25 years and now mentors those who are beginning their own journey in the business of health and fitness. She has received awards for her program development through BCRPA (British Columbia Recreation and Parks) and spreads her passion of health into the world of first aid (Red Cross) as she teaches people to take care of others.
With a desire to understand the 'behavior of health', Kim spends time in the study of behavior to discover why we make the choices we do. She spent 15 years working with Special Needs Students learning strategies to modify behavior which she brings into the world of physical activity. Kim’s passion is to help others in their journey of physical health and wellness.
Personally, Kim entered the world of Sport through running completing the Boston Marathon in 2002. A shift from running to triathlon saw her work her way towards the completion of 3 IronMan competitions before culminating her triathlon journey with Ultraman Canada 2010.
