smartTRIPS Kelowna

April 12th Capital News heralded the arrival of a new initiative designed to encourage residents to walk, cycle, take transit or carpool! The new website, smartTrips.ca was launched last week and is aimed at providing tools and resources for interested residents.
We know that using 'active transportation' has positive impacts on both physical and mental health of the entire community.
Phoenix supports any and all initiatives that encourage ways to become more physically active.
Kudos to the City of Kelowna, the Regional District of Central Okanagan and the District of West Kelowna. Together they have provided opportunities to all of their residents.
We CAN be the most active community in the Okanagan!
Get out there and move!
